About the designer

My photo
Houston, Texas, United States
I'm a self taught jewelry designer who decided to make this more than just a hobby! I've been making jewelry the last 6 years mostly for friends and people in the west coast swing dance community, where I teach and compete. While I have a day job, it's mostly to pay for my jewelry and dance habits! I primarily work with sterling silver, freshwater pearls, semiprecious stones and swarovski crystals. But I'll use anything that catches my eye and I love to try new techniques!

Stuff from the past - Pictures!

Some of my favorite pieces from the past...

One of my very first pieces, a bracelet with onyx, snowflake obsidian, sodolite, unakite and coral semiprecious chips with glass bead accents.  One of my good friends got this for her mother, who loved that it matched everything in her wardrobe.

Blue-red murano-style glass twisted leaf shape beads with  swarovski and czech crystal accents.  A very popular design, I've ended up making this one in various colors 4 or 5 other times.

Clear mixed seed beads, czech and swarovski crystal beads.  Another popular design, easily made in many different color variation.

Another one of my earliest sets.  "Cherry" quartz and sterling silver.
One of my favorites:  soft white, cream, mauve and peach dyed top drilled pearls.  So simple, but elegant!

Hope you've enjoyed this journey through the past.  I'll be continuing to post both past and current photos of my jewelry!
